Byron Bay Surf Festival Wrap Up

The rain stopped, the clouds parted and the waves arrived to usher in a weekend that marked the 10th year for the Byron Bay Surf Festival and the first time that Fusion Health has sponsored the event at Wategos beach.

The rain stopped and the waves turned it on for the 10th annual Byron Bay Surf Festival held at Wategos beach on Sunday February 16th. This year marked Fusion Health’s first year on board as a sponsor.

The day kicked off with the OneWave Fluro Sunday group surf and chat followed by a Qi Gong class (Qi Gong is a moving meditation practised in Chinese culture). Participants were then invited to the Fusion teepee to participate in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, which were running throughout the day.

Feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, the crowd settled in to watch the ‘freestyle and stoke’ surf event. This event celebrates inclusivity and uniqueness in surfing, something we are also very proud to support here at Fusion Health.
